Winter Reading Wrap-Up
Hi there! As usual I'm behind in the posting of my quarterly reading update, so I've made a decision. After this post, I'm going to post about the books I've read a month at a time. Maybe then I'll be more on schedule. Or not. :D So anyway, next week I'll post about April, and as soon as May is done, I'll post again to get myself on a monthly schedule.
Enough about that. Here is the list of the books I read from December to March in the order I read them.
A Study in Scarlet Women (Lady Sherlock, #1) by Sherry Thomas, historical mystery (audiobook)
Kiss Me in Christmas (Christmas, Colorado, #6) by Debbie Mason, contemporary romance
A Christmas Gone Perfectly Wrong (Blackshear Family, #0.5) by Cecilia Grant, historical romance
The Boyfriend Whisperer by Linda Budzinski, YA contemporary romance
Wonder Woman: Warbringer (DC Icons, #1) by Leigh Bardugo, YA superhero
Murder, Magic, and What We Wore by Kelly Jones, YA historical mystery
Frederica by Georgette Heyer, Regency
Fire in Ice (The Generators, #1) by Jennifer DiGiovanni, YA superhero
I’d Tell You I Love You, But Then I’d Have to Kill You (Gallagher Girls, #1) by Ally Carter, YA spy school (re-read)
Sightwitch (The Witchlands, #0.5) by Susan Dennard, YA fantasy
This Side of Murder (Verity Kent, #1) by Anna Lee Huber, historical mystery
Truthwitch (The Witchlands, #1) by Susan Dennard, YA fantasy (re-read)
Windwitch (The Witchlands, #2) by Susan Dennard, YA fantasy (re-read)
As you can see, I re-read The Witchlands series because Sightwitch got me in the mood to dive back into that world. I'm really looking forward to Bloodwitch, but it's not coming out until 2019.
Anyway, I think my favorite read of the new books is Fire in Ice by Jennifer DiGiovanni. It was just a really fun young adult superhero story with a swoony romance. I hope there's going to be a sequel!
So that's it for Winter reading. What's your current read?
