Basic Bio
The award-winning YA romance author of THE ZONE series and the SECOND CHANCES series, Patricia B. Tighe lives in West Texas with her husband and two labradoodles. When she’s not writing, she loves to read and go on hikes with the dogs. In the autumn, she can be found yelling at the TV while watching the NFL. But no matter what time of year, the least likely place to find her is in a kitchen.
Slightly Longer Version
I'm not the writer who's been writing for as long as she can remember. In fact, I didn't start writing fiction until I was almost thirty. But, I've always been a reader. Which, of course, is one of the basic requirements for being a writer. I've read everything from horse novels and spy thrillers to historical romance and fantasy sagas—and lots in between. There's something wondrous about picking up a book and entering a new world with new adventures.
When I'm not reading or writing, I hang out with my husband and dogs, plus my grown kids whenever I get the chance. I'm also an NFL football fan who's addicted to British TV shows. Go figure.
